Auditions: Perfect Crime, Patio Playhouse

Production dates are Friday and Saturday 8pm, Sunday 2pm September 22, 2023 through October 15, 2023. Rehearsals will be 4 nights a week from 7pm to 10pm and the occasional Saturday afternoon. The actual schedule will be determined based on the availability of the selected cast. There will be rehearsals every night the week before this production opens.

The Play: Drama This cat-and-mouse thriller is one of off-Broadway’s longest-running hits. Margaret Thorne Brent, psychiatrist and author, has returned to America with her husband, also a psychiatrist, and settled in an affluent Connecticut community where at least one bizarre murder has taken place. Inspector James Ascher, the local cop, becomes obsessed with Margaret, her parents and their sitting room, where he believes the solution to the murder lies.
Audition dates are 6pm to 9pm July 31 and August 1st with callbacks, by invitation only on August 2nd. Please provide a head shot and theatrical resume. Check your calendars and be able to provide all conflicts between August 4th and October 15, 2023. We do not anticipate selecting understudies, so applicants must be available for every performance night and the entire week prior to opening. Rehearsals prior to that tech week will work around cast availability as much as possible.
