Director of Marketing & Communications (Marketing)

  • A member of the REP’s leadership team, the Director of Marketing & Communications supports the highest strategic priorities of the Theatre, including effective communication of the REP’s mission, vision, and activities. They focus on both growing new audiences while retaining and deepening relationships with current audiences. The Director develops and executes strategies to generate $2 million in earned revenue for the Theatre (prior to the pandemic) and attract an audience of 40,000. They lead an in-house marketing staff plus outside vendors in all marketing, creative services, public relations, audience development, audience engagement, and sales. The Director of Marketing & Communications reports to the Managing Director and works closely with the Artistic Director and Director of External Affairs. Director of Major Gifts (Development)

  • Reporting to the Director of External Affairs, the Director of Major Gifts cultivates, solicits, and stewards a portfolio of mid-level and major prospects and donors. They support and partner with the Director of External Affairs in the strategizing, planning, and implementation of all mid-level and major giving activities. The Director develops the overall strategy for the REP’s signature donor engagement touchpoints, such as opening nights, donor luncheons, and more. The Director supports the Director of External Affairs in ensuring the daily operations of the Development Department run smoothly and efficiently.   • The primary responsibility of the Lyceum Head Electrician is to assist the Rep Head Electrician in the implementation of lighting designs for REP productions and Lyceum Theatre activities. Success in the job will be defined by the ability to execute the job in a timely and efficient manner within budget constraints. The Lyceum Head Electrician will report directly to the Rep head Electrician and Stage Manager (while in production). As the Lyceum Head Electrician will also be working closely with Designers, success in the position will also be defined by the quality of the relationship developed there. Props Supervisor (Production) 

  • The primary responsibility of the Properties Manager/Artisan is to execute properties designs and set dressings for the REP production(s) they are contracted for. Success in the job will be defined by the ability to execute the job in a timely and efficient manner within budget constraints. As the Properties Manager/Artisan will also be working closely with Directors, Designers and Stage Managers, success in the position will also be defined by the quality of the relationships developed there.   • The Production Fellowship program is designed to give early career theatre technicians broad based experience in a variety of technical disciplines working with theatre professionals. Production Fellow is a seasonal hourly non-exempt at-will position. Each Production Fellow will be primarily assigned to one particular production department and will, at times, work in the other production departments. Success in the job will be defined by the ability to execute the job in a timely and efficient manner within budget constraints.
