AUDITION INFORMATION

SEEKING: A diverse cast of NON-UNION singers, dancers and comedic performers of all ethnicities and gender identities with a positive willingness to play! The role of MORTICIA ADDAMS and GOMEZ ADDAMS have been cast, but we are looking for all other roles. We are also seeking onstage understudies for all roles from the Ancestors and 2 offstage swings for the Ancestors. NO HOUSING AVAILABLE / ALL JOBS SAN DIEGO LOCAL HIRE ONLY.
CONFLICTS: Please look at the production calendar before making your appointment HERE. You may only have conflicts between August 29-Sept 16 to be considered, but it is always better to have no conflicts at all. If you have any conflicts beyond September 16 or any performance date, please do not sign up to audition. Thank you for understanding!
AUDITION SCHEDULE
*IMPORTANT NOTE On Casting Manager, you may only sign up for the Dance Call OR the Singer Call, not for both. If you would like to attend BOTH THE SINGER AND DANCE CALLS, please schedule an appointment for the Singer Call and email me at jill@sdmt.org that you also plan on attending the Dance Call so I know how many people to expect. Thank you!
DANCE CALL – Sunday, May 21 at 6pm If you are auditioning for the Ancestors and two swings, please sign up for this Dance Call starting at 6pm. We plan to cast the Ancestors and Swings from this call, so please prepare the Ancestor Vocal Sides should you be asked to stay and sing after the dance call. The Ancestors will understudy the main roles, so you may be asked to come to the callback on Monday, June 12 for that. If you cannot attend the Dance Call but would like to be considered for one of the Ancestors and or one of the swings, please sign up on Casting Manager as a video submission and submit your dance audition and Ancestor Vocal Side through Casting Manager by the morning of Friday, May 19.
SINGER CALL – Sunday, May 28 from 6-10pm The following roles should sign up for the Singer Call… Gomez (understudy), Morticia (understudy), Uncle Fester, Grandma, Wednesday Addams, Pugsley Addams, Lurch, Mal Beineke, Alice Beineke and Lucas Beineke. You may also attend the Dance Call on Sunday, May 21 if you would like to be considered for one of the Ancestors or 2 offstage swings, just be sure to email me at jill@sdmt.org and let me know that you will be attending that call as well. If you cannot attend the Singer Call, please sign up on Casting Manager as a video submission and submit your vocal audition through Casting Manager by the morning of Friday, May 26.
CALLBACK – Monday, June 12 starting at 5pm Should you be invited back to the callback, you will be able to find the sides on our website at www.sdmt.org, or on Casting Manager at least one week prior to the Dance Call.
