Scope and Responsibilities:

1.    Issue Wardrobe on an as needed basis to Model Citizens.

2.    Fills out appropriate paper work for issuance of garments and records garments returned.

3.    Is knowledgeable concerning what constitutes a complete outfit for each area and issues accordingly.

4.    Receives clean wardrobe back from vendor, inventories and racks clean garments.

5.    Keeps Wardrobe area clean and all wardrobe items put away or hung in the appropriate place.

6.    Handles incoming laundry from areas in Park, helping to track garments through appropriate paper work.

7.    Puts laundry into washing machine, removes laundry from washing machine and puts laundry into dryer, folds and puts away laundry.

8.    Assist Seamstresses if necessary.

9.    Looks for new ways to use space efficiently, and speed the process of issuing garments.

10.  Follows all safety policies required by the resort

11.  Wears proper Personal Protection Equipment when handling chemicals or hazardous substances

12.  Follow proper SDS and uses all chemicals for their intended use.

13.  Can operate garment maintenance machinery effectively and safely. (Washers, dryers, irons, steamers, etc.)

 

Background and Experience:

One year of experience as a Wardrobe Issue Attendant in a theme park, hotel, resort or other closely related field is highly desirable, but not required.

Requires good interpersonal skills, must be polite, friendly and outgoing.

Must be a team player, who works well with others.

Good verbal and written communication skills are important.

Requires the ability to self-initiate activities and coordinate daily tasks, should be able to work with a minimum of supervision.

Must be organized, detail oriented, and have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.

Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word is a plus, but not necessary.

Basic math skills are required. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

 

Education:

Enrollment in a College program leading to a degree in Theatre Arts with an emphasis on textiles highly desirable.

Completion of any certified programs having to do with textiles is a plus.

 

Other Requirements:

Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends to support park operations. Sewing skills a plus.

Compensation:
Compensation for the opportunity is $16.50
