My life is my creative work, and I bring the full, rich complexity, beauty, depth, and joy of it to every role and endeavor I have, whether in life or in art, to co-create with others. Originally from New York, then Los Angeles, my life path led me away from performing arts into organizational psychology (akin to ensemble performance in organizational contexts). It has added a great deal to my understanding of and appreciation for contexts and subtexts for thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

The statement of purpose that I developed in New York during my mid-20s rings as true today, and in retrospect, through all of the phases of my life thus far, as it did then:

To use my unique intensity, sensitivity, and imagination to let people know that they are included, needed, and wanted, that they are important to me and to one another, and that their being here makes a difference. I will do this through writing, acting, singing, producing, and living - Stephen Fitzgerald

I love musical theatre! I'm a lyric baritone with a wide range from mid-base to to mid-tenor and transition smoothly to falsetto.
