Camille Thornton-Alson

Hi, I’m Camille! I am a classically trained actress who loves all things theatre and film. I received my BA in Theatre from UC San Diego and my Masters from from the University of Washington’s Professional Actor Training Program. While at UCSD, I studied in Paris and London, refining my technique in stagecraft, movement, and physical comedy. After receiving my MFA in Acting I moved to Los Angeles where I wore many hats (besides actor), as an agent’s assistant, writer and teacher (my next greatest passion).  Currently I work part-time as an adjunct professor at the USC School of Drama and continue to grow in Los Angeles through my own projects, Speak L.A. (, a platform that helps to educate adult actors through classes, podcasts and instructional videos. Some of my recent professional credits include work at the South Coast Rep. as well as a co-star on Criminal Minds. My greatest joy is collaboration and I am eager to collaborate within this new and vibrant theater community in San Diego.
