Duncan Engel

Duncan Engel (he/him) is a San Diego-based Actor with a love for storytelling. Beginning theatre over 8 years ago, Duncan values being creatively authentic, telling stories with purpose, and having the most fun throughout the process. Dedicated to research and finding authentic truths in every character he plays, he often finds himself admiring the dramaturgy of a piece. Whether a lead on stage or a member of the ensemble, he makes sure that he tells the story itching to be told. 

Trained in Shakespearean theatre as well as Contemporary works, Duncan has become well-rounded and eager to continuously diversify his portfolio. Apart from straight plays, he has also found a love for comedic works through long-form Improv and Improv Comedy and come to love the power of language through learning the Spanish language and becoming Certified Bilingual. 

He hopes to make a career out of his creative talent and pursue a BFA in Acting after graduating from High School.
