Paul Champy

Hi my name is Paul Champy. Im a San Diego Native. I grew up break dancing when I was a kid and from there I knew performing was always going to be part of me. I would always attend school dances and show off my dance skills. I remember the very first musical I did. It was at City College called The Wiz. I had a taste of what it was like being on stage and from that moment on I knew I wanted to act and dance for the rest of my life! In 2003 I enrolled in Mesa College Theater Program. For the next two years I learned everything from acting to lighting to sound to costumes and makeup. The whole nine yards. During my final semester at Mesa I auditioned for Pirates of the Caribbean 3. I was selected as one of the core background Asian Pirates to go to the Bahamas and meet and work with all the main actors like Johnny Depp! After Mesa I went on to do background extra work and worked on numerous independent films. In 2014 I took a break and in 2018 I started back up again because I missed being on stage and in front of a camera.
