Wendy Hovland

Wendy is an on-camera and voice actor trained in a hybrid Meisner technique. She naturally conveys traditional elegance, likeable sensibility and a dash of whimsy.

Her experience includes work in films, commercials, industrials, documentaries, and theatre as well as voiceover.

Wendy’s voiceover work has won numerous awards and been featured in the HEAR Now: Audio Fiction and Arts Festival. Her voice is a popular choice for narration, e-learning, telephony and commercials.

Wendy is also a frequent presenter, speaker and emcee for events and also serves as ‘Voice-of-God’ voiceover for conferences.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from San Diego State University, where she majored in Public Relations and minored in Speech Communication.

Wendy is an active volunteer with Girl Scouts where she enjoys hiking, backpacking, canoeing and anything else that involves outdoor adventure.
