It’s never too late to pursue a passion for performing as an actor. Acting is an art that has always been at the very top of my lifelong career ambitions. After graduating college, my goal was to become further educated as an actor so I could perform in film or live stage. However, as they say, “life got in the way”, with raising a family of 4 boys. I have had a successful career as a business entrepreneur and enjoyed many years as a full-time parent. All my children have now graduated from college and moved on with their lives. It was now time that I put myself out there and engage to fulfill my goals in the arts, as an actor. I started by joining a casting company as a background actor in several different TV shows. The next step was enrolling in an acting workshop with LA Acting Studio San Diego to gain a greater understanding and appreciation of the skill sets needed to be a solid, working actor. My first acting experience was being casted in a TV reality show, “Central Justice”, acting on camera in a mostly improvisational speaking part. Next, I auditioned for a part in a student short film and was casted as “Grandpa” in the short film, “The Grandpa”. 3 long days, filming both in Los Angeles studio and the Mojave Desert. Nothing could have been better than having the experience to see the amount of detail it takes to produce a film. I’m such a lucky person! I’m really looking forward to earning many more acting opportunities in the future.
